Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Okay, I would be interested in a website - Where do I begin?
A: The first step is to email us now, then, we can email you back to what your requirements are.

Q. What information would you require?
A. Logo (if applicable), text, photos, contact details (ie address, phone numbers fax etc.)

Q. How should these be sent to you?
A. Your photos and text can be sent to us by email, post or on a CD, if hand written work is being sent via post, please make sure writing is as clear and precise as possible, please leave a contact number in case we need to talk to you, if required, we can scan photos, photos by email should be sent to us as a jpg or jpeg format. We cannot be held responsible for any photo quality if scanned. (We can discuss what photos and text go together when designing commences).

Q. How much does it cost?
A. See our prices page for details, a deposit of 50% is required plus web hosting costs, (non refundable) to cover costs for the draft designing of your website plus money will be required for registering your company name and for the hosting company if this is required, the remaining amount will be required when your website has been approved.

Q. When will my website be finished?
A. Once we have all of your information we shall start work on your website. It takes approximately 14 days for completion, we will phone and email you the website address so you can see how your website will appear.

5 PROOFS will be available for you to review and change at no extra cost, thereafter, any further proofs that are required will be charged at the hourly rate of £15 + vat

When all the design has been approved by yourselves we will require email confirmation that you are satisfied with the work, we will require the remaining outstanding balance for desiging your website in full after completion/approval, if we do not receive the full amount within 14 days after completion/approval, we will take your website down from the internet until payment has been received.

Q. Will I have my website name?
A. We will try to get your company name for your website as a .co.uk address, sometimes these are not available, especially if there are many company names like yourselves that are very popular, so, we might have to apply for a .com, .org, .net, but, we can discuss this further if we come across any of these problems.

Q. Do you design online shop?
A. No, we do not design e-commerce sites.

Q. When will I have to renew my website and how much does that cost?
A. Most hosting companies renew every year. The cost for renewing your website for the year will be at the web hosting company's cost. Once the website has been approved by yourselves, we no longer have any responsibility for your website. If you want us to update your website, please contact us. If you wish us to renew for you, please contact us, the same price remains the same, £15 + vat per hour of our time (minimum charge). Once the website design has been completed and sent to the hosting company of your choice, any problems that arise with your website will be with the web hosting company and therefore, it will be your responsibility to contact them if any problems arise.

Four Seasons Web Design does not warrant that functions contained in Four Seasons Web Designs content will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that Four Seasons Web Design or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs.
